Management

The Competitive Cyclist Racing Team is owned and operated by On the Rivet Management, LLC, based in Dahlonega, Georgia.

In 2010, Jason Kriel was approached to try to revive the Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team. In so doing, and in preparation for the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship and the Tour de Beauce, Jason recruited the help of his brother, Eric, and Josh Saint. These were the humble beginnings of On the Rivet Management.

With the support of On the Rivet Management and sponsor Louis Garneau, the Bahati Pro Cycling Team now had strong backing and management. Not only was Team sponsor Louis Garneau instrumental in supporting the Team, they also introduced additional potential Team sponsors, including RealCyclist.com, who later became the Team’s title sponsor in 2011. With a strong new title sponsor and the organizational skills of OTRM, the Team was able to secure Gord Fraser as Directeur Sportif.

2012 is On the Rivet Management’s third year managing the Team, now under the title sponsorship of Competitive Cyclist. In 2011, the Team had its inaugural season and it flourished by taking overall GC victories in five of the seven stage races it entered, not to mention numerous individual stage wins and King of the Mountain honors. Due to OTRM’s leadership skills, and the extreme dedication, talent, and teamwork of all its riders, the Team secured the overall individual NRC championship for its captain, Francisco (Paco) Mancebo.

Since its inception, On the Rivet Management has worked with many other programs, including: Quick Step, Bissell, Team Type 1, United Health Care, the Canadian Olympic Team, Jittery Joe’s, Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team, H & R Block/Cannondale, Allset/Cannondale, Myogenesis, Ion Sports Nutrition/United Health Care of GA, Tour of Georgia, Tour of Missouri, and USA Pro Championships.
